Our Process

The Managing Director Mr. N.BALACHANDRAN is a graduate in Metallurgical Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Trichy. He has specialized in Heat-Treatment Technology and he had served as a Senior Engineer in W.S. Industries (India) Ltd. Chennai. He had worked there in Plant Engineering Department for more than Seven years and had good exposure to the Heat-Treatment of Insulator Hard-ware components.

We specialize in Salt-Bath Heat-Treatment of High-Speed Steels: all Grades Namely, AST A276 TP 410, AISI M2, M35, M42, ASP 23,ASP30,T1, T4, T42,etc, Tool steels like AISI D2,D3, Hot Die Steels: all grades namely H11, H13, H10A, H21 and ASSAB Steels and ALL Alloy Steels namely EN8, EN9, EN19, EN24, EN41B, OHNS, spring steels etc.

Heat- Treatment is a Very Vital process in any Engineering Industry which determines the life of the Tools, Dies or any other production component. Hence Heat-Treatment should be done in the proper method in Order to obtain optimum results. We do not deviate from any process sequence and we strictly follow all the process procedures meticulously namely.

a. Stress- Relieving in Forced Air Circulation [FAC] Furnace

b. Dry Pre-Heating in FAC Furnace

c. Second Pre-Heating in Medium Temperature Neutral Salt- Bath Furnace

d. Austenitising in High- Temperature Salt- Bath Furnace

e. Mar-Quenching in Salt-Bath Furnace followed by

f. Three Tempering all in Salt-Bath Furnaces.

g. Nitriding Process.

We have very good process control instruments including the Simulator and with them we can accurately control and cross check the Temperatures in Salt-Baths. We have separate Temperature Controllers for source and Charge in our furnaces. We strictly follow the process parameters. We have a very good Hardness Tester which can measure in Brinell & Rockwell C Scales.
